Quick Start

Using the Scorecard is simple.

You do not need to plan your entire civic journey. Start with something that interests you and build your Scorecard one experience at a time.

01
Find an Action
Browse Civic Actions and choose something that connects with you.

02
Take Part
Complete the activity and save any required documentation.

03
Add Your Impact
Return to the Civic Action and select Add Impact.
04
Reflect
Pause and think about what happened, why it mattered, and what comes next.

05
Keep Building
Earn points, explore another action, and watch your civic record grow towards recognition.

2 • Take Part & Add Your Impact

Complete the action, then add your Impact.

Before you begin, read About and What You'll Do, and check whether you need to save any documentation.

About
Understand the purpose of the action.

What You'll Do
Check what you need to complete.

Documentation
Save anything required to submit.
Ready to Submit?
Add your Impact from the Civic Action.

Return to the specific Civic Action you completed and select Add Impact.

Choose “Add Impact” — not “Register.”
Register is not how you submit a completed Scorecard action.
3 • Reflect & Keep Building

Make the connection.

Your reflection is a chance to think about what the experience meant—not just record that you completed it. It does not need to sound formal.

What?
What happened?
What did you do, experience, or observe?

So What?
Why did it matter?
What did you learn, contribute, question, or better understand?

Now What?
What comes next?
What might you carry into your next experience or action?
When you're finished, select Next and then Add Impact. Your Impact will become part of your Scorecard record.
