Upcoming Event Submission Guide
Upcoming Event Submission Guide
Know about an upcoming event UW students should see? Share it with us.
Help students discover opportunities to get involved.
The Civic Health Scorecard connects UW students with events where they can learn, participate, connect, and contribute across UW and the broader community.
Students, staff, faculty, programs, and community partners can recommend upcoming opportunities. You don't need to create new event copy just for us. If information already exists, you can use it.
Is it an event or an ongoing Civic Action?
The easiest way to decide is whether the opportunity happens at a particular time or can be completed by students on their own or over time.
|
Specific Date or Time
Submit an Upcoming Event
Use this form for something happening on a specific date or during a defined period.
Workshops, lectures, volunteer events, trainings, forums, service opportunities, community gatherings, and other scheduled programs.
|
Ongoing Opportunity
Submit a Civic Action
Use the New Action process for something students can complete independently or over time.

|
Learn & Discuss
Civic learning, dialogue, forums, lectures, and conversations.
|
Serve & Contribute
Community engagement, public service, volunteering, and stewardship.
|
Lead & Participate
Leadership, democratic engagement, arts and culture, well-being, and other forms of civic participation.

Send it our way.
Choose Quick Submit when event information is already available online, or use the full submission option to share event details directly and provide additional context.
You do not need to format the event exactly as it will appear on the Scorecard. Simply share the relevant details, and CELE will review, refine, and prepare the final event listing.
Submit early when you can.
Events are time-sensitive. Sharing an opportunity early gives us more time to review it and, if approved, make it available to students. If the event is coming up quickly, you can still submit it, but we cannot guarantee it will be posted before the event.
We'll take it from there.
CELE will review the event to determine whether it fits the Scorecard and whether students have enough information to participate.
