Othello-UW Commons is a learning and collaboration space for community partners, faculty, staff and students.   

Host your event at the Othello-UW Commons! Rooms may be reserved by UW-affiliated organizations and community partners.

Othello-UW Commons is transitioing into a new system for reserving our space! If you're a community or a campus partner interested in hosting an event at the Commons, please email us at othellocommons@uw.edu. Check out the information below to see the 3-step reservation process.

How to Reserve

  1. Email othellocommons@uw.edu to set up an informational 20-minute meeting.
  2. Get a link after the interview to a form to fill out all the logisitic details of your event and a user agreement form that needs to be signed and emailed back to us.
  3. Recieve a confirmation calendar invite for your event(s)!

After this 3-step process, for future reservations just send us an email with your requested date and time!

*If you are a first time user, please plan to contact us at least 1 month in advance of your requested date.

For UW Students

Study Hours (& Co-Working Hours) for students for Winter 2024 are every Thursday from 9:00AM to 8:00PM.

If you can't make it to Study Hours, don't worry! Feel free to reach out via email, phone, or IG about coming in if you just need a space to study or take your online class! Our hours and staffing vary depending on the reservations, but we're happy to have you if we're on site!
