Democracy Dawgs brings together students, staff, faculty, community partners, and civic leaders to strengthen nonpartisan civic and democratic engagement at the University of Washington.
Building a Culture of Civic Participation
Democracy Dawgs connects people from across UW to coordinate communication, share resources, and create opportunities for students to participate in civic life.
The coalition supports UW's participation in the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge , a national nonpartisan initiative focused on student civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation.
Why Get Involved?

- Help make voting information and civic resources more visible and accessible to students.
- Contribute ideas and perspectives to campus-wide democratic engagement efforts.
What to Expect
- Participate in Democracy Dawgs coalition meetings on the last Wednesday of every month.
- Share ideas, resources, and opportunities from across the UW community.
- Support events, workshops, outreach, and other nonpartisan civic engagement activities.
