Democracy Dawgs

Democracy Dawgs is a coalition of students, staff, faculty, community members, and civic leaders who are working to increase student voting rates and build an even stronger culture of civic and democratic engagement at the University of Washington. Our student population has one of the highest voter participation rates in the country; we are working together to build on that foundation and create more centralized communication and processes to promote civic participation.  The University of Washington has joined with over 850 colleges and universities to participate in the All in Campus Democracy Challenge to make plans and take action to increase nonpartisan student civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation.
