Welcome! Spring CELEbration is a forum for UW students to showcase their community-engaged work, leadership, and activism. We are so excited to celebrate all the accomplishments of our fellow Huskies. Friends, family, community partners, mentors, faculty, UW community members and anyone interested are invited to attend!

Spring CELEbration 2026 Presenter List

Event Schedule

Presentations will be organized into sessions. Attendees may choose which presentations to attend during each session as presentations will take place concurrently in the HUB Ballroom and 2nd and 3rd floor conference rooms.

Session 0 (Lightning Talks)
3:45–4:30 p.m., HUB conference rooms (2nd & 3rd floor)
Students will present Lightning Talks, 5–7-minute oral presentations with slides, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

Event Welcome & Community Partners Recognition
4:30–4:50 p.m., HUB ballroom
Hear a brief Welcome and inspirational message from Ed Taylor, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UAA), as well as from Francesca Lo, Executive Director of UW's Community Engagement & Leadership Education (CELE) center

Presentation Session 1
5–5:50 p.m., HUB ballroom
Student presentations will occur concurrently in the HUB Ballroom and 2nd & 3rd floor conference rooms.

Presentation Session 2
6–6:50 p.m., HUB ballroom
Student presentations will occur concurrently in the HUB Ballroom and 2nd & 3rd floor conference rooms.

Community Conversations
7–7:30 p.m., HUB ballroom
The event will wind down as presenters and guests are encouraged to socialize, take photos with Dubs, and enjoy refreshments.

Spring CELEbration officially ends at 7:30 p.m.

FAQ

Spring CELEbration is a showcase of student service, leadership, and activist work conducted in partnership with the community. UW students who have participated in Community Engagement & Leadership Education (CELE) Center programs as well as Mary Gates Leadership Scholars are invited to present at the event and share reflections about their service and leadership experiences via a variety of modalities including posters, oral presentations, table talks, and video presentations.

Parking is available, but not provided. If you plan on parking on the UW campus, we recommend stopping by a UW gatehouse and letting them know you are attending an event at the HUB. They can help with campus maps, directions, accessible parking, and building information.

Yes, there will be a QR code at the event where you can provide feedback for individual presenters or for the event in general.

Yes, elevators are available, and there will be room for wheelchairs to navigate the space.
