Dream Project Mentor

UW Dream Project is a community-engaged learning course and near-peer mentoring program. We connect UW undergraduate students with local middle and high school students to support post-secondary planning and college access.

  • Develop your leadership skills around teamwork and conflict resolution

  • Receive the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world settings and develop a racial equity lens

What to expect

  • Register for EDUC 260 (first quarter mentors) or EDUC 360 (returning mentors)
  • AND register for EDUC 369 (a mentoring component of Dream Project)
  • Dedicate an average time commitment of 4 hours per week
  • All courses are graded as credit/no-credit
  • Mentoring times vary by school and are viewable on the UW time schedule under EDUC 369
